A single dataset is an individual product we sell on our store e.g. “McDonalds in USA” is one dataset and “McDonalds in UK” is a second separate dataset. Data Bundles (e.g. Top Grocery Stores in the US) are not a single dataset and are excluded from our subscription. However, individual datasets that comprise a Bundle can be included but will count as individual datasets.
The minimum subscription duration for all plans is one quarter and billing will be quarterly (every 3 months).
All the datasets, brands and countries provided in the subscription are from our existing datasets listed on this site, brands and countries that we cover. New datasets, brands and countries that we do not already cover and all Custom datasets are excluded from the subscription.
Once you subscribe, our Store team will email you with how to access the data. The subscription data will be delivered to you automatically through an emailed link and will not be available for manual download from our store.
Subscription Data excludes data provided by third party Marketplace sellers.
Our regular terms apply to our subscription plans but can be modified for individual contracts as needed.
We also provide subscriptions to alerts for store openings and closures across the brands and countries that we cover. The alerts can be provided on a real-time or weekly or monthly basis over email or through an API. The pricing for these alerts is based on the number of brands and countries subscribed. Data can be delivered as a link sent to your email. This is the easiest method for customers who just want to open files in Microsoft Excel
We can deliver that data through integration over various cloud services such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, FTP or other storage providers
We can build custom API endpoints for accessing the data in real-time. This method provides access to the most updated data

Yes. All datasets that are in our Data Store currently are eligible to be included in each plan.
However, 3rd party seller provided Marketplace data, Custom Datasets and Data Bundles are not included.
Once you signup to the subscription, we will contact you to get the list of the brands you want to include as part of your subscription and the delivery method you would like to have (email or S3 etc) and set that up for you.
The data is usually updated every month in most cases.
Once you sign up with a credit card, you will be billed every 3 months (one quarter) for that quarter. All billing is made upfront.
Yes, you can create custom plans to cover the brands and countries you need and a custom update period.

Subscriptions are usually fixed but we do allow swapping up to 10% of the datasets once a month to accommodate any changes in your needs. ie if your subscription contains 10 datasets and one of them is the McDonalds USA locations and you wanted to swap that with Starbucks USA next month, we allow that once a month for up 1 dataset (10% of 10 datasets) per month.
Our subscription plan billing and renewal is quarterly, so while you can cancel anytime, the billing will be for the whole quarter and the balance is not refundable. This is meant to prevent misuse of the generous discounts we offer through our subscription pricing plans.
The Custom plan will be designed based on your requirements and can include brands that you require and for countries that you need and will be provided based on a schedule that you prefer.
e.g. a custom plan could include all locations from Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks in the US updated monthly
Custom plans are based on the number of brands and their locations, and the frequency of the updates. More of any of those variables, will cost more. However, you still have the Unlimited plan available to get the best benefit.
Yes. If you want an update every week instead of monthly, or on certain days of each quarter (for reporting QoQ metrics), that is definitely possible in the Custom plan.
